磐田市新造形創造館　-概　要-

	磐田市では、熊野御前と長藤にちなんだ磐田市香りの博物館、磐田市熊野伝統芸能館の施設や「藤と香りの道」の整備などを通して、「熊野の里・文化が薫るまちづくり事業」を推進しております。そのひとつとして、ガラス造形と金属造形の融合という全国でも珍しい文化施設、「新造形創造館」は誕生しました。ガラスと金属は造形への人間の強い意志を具現化しながら長い歴史を重ねてきました。

	そして今日では、現代文明を支えるためになくてはならない存在となっています。芸術から科学まであらゆる分野にわたって人間の創造と造形意欲を反映できる素材として、ガラスと金属の持つ可能性は無限です。この新造形創造館は、人間のものづくりへの限りないアプローチを通して豊かな感性を育み、さらに未来を拓く新たな文化と産業づくりの拠点となることを目指しています。

We have been promoting "Cultural enhanced towns-Yuyanosato" through the Museum of Fragrance, Iwata and Noh Stage Associated with Yuya which are related to Yuya-Gozen and long wisteria, organiziug the "Wisteria and Fragrance Road" ,etc. As one of these promotions, a new and original cultural facirity "Public Glassmaking and Metalworking Facility" was born. It is a fusion of glassmaking and metalworking and is a very unique type of facility in Japan. Glass and metal have been utilized by man for centuries and have built up a long history.

Over this period marhas molded these two mediums tugether to satisfy his own creativity. And today their inevitable existence supports our modern civilization. Glass and metals have infinite possibilities when regarded as materials which are capable of reflecting our creation and desire for molding in various fields a fertile sencibility through an unlimited approach toward our making of things, further aiming at creating a new cultueal and industrial base for the future.

生涯学習の推進

一般向けの造形教室を設置。基礎から応用までレベルに応じたメニューを用意し、ガラスと金属の造形の楽しみを広く伝えることにより、人々の造形文化に対する意識を高め、生涯学習の一端を担います。

文化体験型観光の振興

造形体験、ショッピング、飲食などの要素を備えた文化体験型観光の拠点としての充実を目指します。他地域の体験型文化施設とのタイアップも図ります。

This in one of the few fully equipped studio facilities in Japan. which is now able to meet the current creative demands of the public.

※造形教室は内容により午後9時まで行っているものもあります。
※月曜日が祝日の場合はその翌日が休館日となります。
※祝日の翌日が土・日曜日の場合は開館いたします。

Opening hours:9:30 to 17:00(Generaru admission)
Day closed:Mondays, days following national holidays and New Year's holidays.
Some mollding classes run nutil 9:00p.m.
If a national holiday falls on Monday, the facility will be closed the following Tuesday.
If a national holiday falls on Friday or Saturday, the facility will be opened the following Suturday or Sunday.

テーブルウエアに工房作品を取り入れアートな雰囲気に包まれながら新鮮な地元食材を使ったお食事を楽しんでいただけます。
Table wear made in the studio will be used. You can also enjoy meals using local food in an artistic atmosphere.
